• Saskia
Holling assisted in setting up one of the
first Internet Cafés in Scotland. In addition to designing web sites
she helped guide the general public around the then new technology.
Moving to Dumfries and Galloway in March 1997, Saskia set up web-link in July of that year. Over the past 10 years web-link has proved successful in the web site development, maintenance, management and Internet training fields and boasts a continually growing list of satisfied customers.
• Philippa Bull worked for an Edinburgh-based Internet hosting company in the 90's before she and a business partner set up a web design business which is still running successfully.
Having recently moved to Cumbria, Philippa continues to develop her knowledge of behind-the-scenes site building such as setting up dynamic pages, database-driven content, shopping carts, booking systems etc. in her work for web-link.
• Malcolm
Laurie is a freelance Graphic designer
who brings his extensive skills and experience - over 12 years of working
in several design houses and 8 years of web site creation - to the design
of web-link client sites.
In addition to creating fast, concise, informative and visually pleasing web sites, Malcolm offers design and programming of CD-Roms and Digital Presentations.
• Russell Wilkins has a background in electronics,
design and retail. A Service Engineer / Trouble-shooter in the electronics
trade he has worked with and on computers for over 15 years.
He acts as technical manager for web-link and is on-hand to fix software and hardware problems as they arise.
