The Dumfries and Galloway Women's Forum aims to put local wome in touch with one another, enhance the qulity of their lives and enable them to play a fuller role in the community by:

 Promoting a healthier and safer environment.

 
Increasing opportunities for personal development -
including training, education, support, leisure and work.

 Addressing the needs of all women.

 Encouraging women's involvement in the decision making process.

 Promoting equality of opportunities for women in the region of Dumfries an Galloway.
